"When the Soldiers Came to Town" is now available for

joint project of the Spartanburg County Historical Association and the
Hub City Writer's Project in Spartanburg. The editors are Susan
Turpin, Carolyn Creal, Jim Crocker, and Ron Crawley with additional
creative contributions coming from numerous contributing authors.
This is the first ever publication devoted entirely to
Spartanburg's US Military installations, Camp Wadsworth, Camp Croft,
and the Memorial Airport.
