Camp Croft, South Carolina

The camp contained 969 buildings and structures. A few of the more common buildings are shown below.

The landmark water tower, at the right, was the largest in the state.

Fire Station No. 1, Camp Croft, S. C.
Three fire stations were located in the camp.
 Two Guest Houses located next to the Service Clubs offered low rate lodging for the guests of servicemen. The price was 50 cents per night. Guest House, Camp Croft, S. C.

The Main Post office was located near the main entrance to the camp. Main Post Office

Bungalows housing the camp's staff officers were located on a loop near the main entrance. Staff Officers Bungalows
Theater #3 Four theaters were located on the post. By day they were used for training films and lectures, at night feature movies were shown, and on Sunday church services were held in them.
Three swimming pools (one for officers, one for NCO, and one for enlisted men) were located on post.
