HMS CICALA - Insect-class River Gunboat

HMS Cicala in North Russia 1919 (scrapbook of Yeoman of Signals George Smith - click for enlargement)

INSECT-Class River Gunboat ordered from Barclay Curie and launched on 19th December 1915 as the 1st RN ship to carry this name. Build was completed in February 1916.
