We had a ceremony to honor "National Purple Heart Recognition Day" in Dunedin, Fl. yesterday about 10 miles south of my home near Baileys Bayou (actually the town is Holiday, Fl.----but most of us locals still like to be recognized as residents of Baileys' Bayou).
We had a few hundred folks attend along with some pretty special Purple Heart recipients.

I was in attendance, but did not participate in the event. I simply went to
honor my former brothers-in-arms and fellow Purple Heart recipients who like myself were awarded this medal.
