I have an old friend spending the weekend with me. He served in the Marines in the mid-fifties. Once a Marine always a Marine after 20 years of my indepth counseling (choke) he is still a Marine. Terry and his wife Sharon will be spending a couple of days with us. I always tell Sharon she is bringing Terry to me for theropy. But she always says, "he's worse when we leave." Anyway we'll enjoy each others company this weekend. Terry has had one major heart attack and two minor strokes but he still gets around pretty good. And he still knows how to say, "Semper Fidelis". Boy its going to be a long weekend of harassment and counter harassment.

Got a lot of strong coffee. I've been harrassed all weekend. Those Marines are hard on us Army guys. Terry told me tell all the Marines on this site that you guys have his sympathy for having to put up with. Then he informed me that I was the one who was receiving counseling because Marines don't need counseling. My ego as theropist has been severely shaken. I'm going to bury my head and crawl under the pool table and hide. Those Marines are tough.

Got some strong coffee for a disillusioned theropist.

Did a pig roast for my daughters HS grad party back in '94. Stated a 125 lb. pig at 4 AM and it was ready about 2 PM. It was great even if I do say so myself. A Cold Front came through here this week. Heavy snows in the higher levels of the Mountains. They said it was an Artic Front that came through. Will Summer ever arrive? Watch out Minnesota, cold weather is on its way. I understand that when unstable cold air from the north mixes with war air from the gulf it becomes tornado season. Bad weather is coming guys.

I understand Hoyin is attending anger management classes after losing control with a wannabee. I probably have my facts messed up but it sure makes for a good rumor.

It warmed up very well yesterday. The cold front passed through on Friday - Sunday. Got up to 80 in my back yard yesterday. The humidity was high for us - 75% kinda sticky for us desert folks. But, the really cold weather passed by. So, SGT hang in there, swimming pool weather is coming.

Musta been a midget with a .45 in my block when I bought my truck 12 years ago cause he shot his way out last weekend ( or maybe that's the hole my rod made when it let go doing 70) Any who it's just me and the Harley now and sitting on an air cooled engine while stuck in rush hour traffic heats up parts of my body that are very " tender". When I took the pool boy job it was for NORMAL maintenance. NOT Harleys in the pool every other freakin day. But the way it's goin around here, Harleys in the pool are becoming normal. Sheeesh!!!!

Some dark heavy clouds moved in and no wind. It got pretty sticky for a couple of hours until a breeze came up and the clouds moved. The local news said the humidity was about 75%. I hate it when it gets like that. As you know we usually have too much wind to develop too much humidity.

Mmmm. Memories of the last military party we went to. Keg stands in the corner and well built sailors dancing naked on the roof.

Not bad for the Navy. Next party in San Francisco. Those Navy boys use any excuse for a party but as long as they invite Mom and Dad they can't be all bad. Guess it probably makes a difference that Mom and Dad have been there done that first.

I only feel sightly insane.

Problem is that he drops in about three or four times a year. And, it TAKES 364 days to recover. My wife says I'm a crazy oh well - I'll just have to accept life as it comes. Marines and all.
