Lots of prayers coming from here. I'm sure he'll be fine soon. That being said, fevers and flu is how my "illness" started. Arrow when your in contact with him again ask him to make sure the doctors do ALL the blood work, just in case...

I called griz about 11:00 am pdt this morning he sounded in good sprits he said to thank all of you for your prayers he is sure they helped. his fever is down and he can move better he said the best thing so far was he was able to take a real shower this morning. The test andy told him about is being schedualed for this afternoons blood draw. he must look like one of them voodoo dolls will all the blood draws and tests> I told him to go on R&R when he gets out he thinks it will be tommorrow or wendsday oh yeah the R&R is for rest and recouperation which we all need from time to time. if i hear more i'll let you know

I am asuming they did blood cultures. This will tell the what the bug is and what it is sensitve to antbiotic wise. Sometimes they are negative because they just didn't catch a bug in the blood sample. They are not absolutely essential. A broad spectrum antibiotic will usually get the bug.

... seems like a lot of people up this way are having problems with the sinus infections, my brother has it bad, and I myself have a bit of one , but being that my nose was shattered , I am used to the breathing problems that comes with losing/chipping 13 teeth, and a broken nose at the same time...contrary to popular belief...softballs are not soft...

I called the hospital and they said griz was released today I'am taking that as good news i'm sure he will post us an update when he's strong enough to sit at the computer until then let's all keep him on our prayer list thanks your friend chris

Advice: "Get out of bed son, people die in bed." That was the wake up call on the dairy farm.
