"Former NATO Soldiers to Sue US Radar Manufacturers

FRANKFURT (Reuters Health) - A class action lawsuit against US radar manufacturers will be filed this morning on behalf of former NATO (news - web sites) soldiers who say they developed cancer from working on radar systems during the Cold War, lawyers involved in the case said on Tuesday.
In a statement released at a press conference in Berlin, Remo Klinger and Reiner Geulen of the Berlin law firm Geulen & Klinger said defendants in the suit are Raytheon Company, Lucent Technologies, General Electric Corporation, Honeywell International Inc., and ITT-Industries Inc. and its division ITT-Gilfillan Inc."
