09 dec 1942A fairly large enemey taskforce has been sighted in the general area of Guadalcanal. We are supposed to rendevous with the U.S.S Sara,NCarolina,Washington,Indiana,Columbia and twelve destroyers today enroute from noumea to Guadalcanal.From the log of R.G. Crawford.
