Fox news is reporting that the general populace is in full revolt in Basra and Iraqi soldiers are mortaring them. British forces are poised to enter the city but are waiting for first light. From what is being reported the Brits have Q-36 Firefinder radar in place and are shooting counterbattery fire with 155's and MLRS. Get some guys!
I watch as the Iraqi's spray acid from crop dusters on these same people in 91.

Boats, others...seems as though things might be getting"A bit sticky" in Basra. Does anyone recall who made that statement and in which war? I can recall talking about it with my Father when he was trying to explain the vast difference in the English language to me one day many years ago.

I think the Brits are refering to a Sticky Wicket a common Cricket term when things go awry. Don't recall who said that in the previous War ?
