The Brad Is In Officer Candidate School!

The Brad got through basic.

He is now starting OCS.

He has written to many of you concerning his change of address, however I have his new address if you want me to forward it on to you by sending me a personal message.

I got a letter yesterday. He's an Engineering Officer in training and not sure that's what he wants! He'd like someone whose worked in this position to write him and let him know what he can expect. He's into his 4th week at OCS with 10 more to go.

then he's got 16 weeks of Engineering classes before being assigned a port of call (duty station). He makes his letter's sound like he's not staying the course and thinks he will be out before he knows it?

I thought he was career material?

He's asking for input from anyone whose been in the Engineering Groups (military). He's not the same Brad that went in because I can tell by his letter's he's more than he can be - I guess that's a popular item today.

Write him he's not getting much mail like he used and I owe him one of which I will complete tomorrow.
