View Full Version : Middle Eastern Consideration - Under Pressure

HARDCORE

Israel?s Sharon has avowed that he will go along with a separate Palestinian State by 2005! Could it be that at least part of this ?Change of Heart? was brought about by ?Oval Office Pressure!? After all is said and done, the paramount supporter of Israel was, and is, the United States!

This is not to say that the ?Good Old U. S. of A.? does not support all of its international friends, just as vehemently as we oppose the many ass-holes in our worldly midst. But we have never been one (having been there ourselves), to sit back and let some ?Global Thug? stick it to the little guy! ?And as for this bloody hullabaloo over Palestine, many do not even know what started this bullshit in the first place!?
-----------------------------------------------------------------
Palestine, one of the most holy lands in the Bible has been around for at least 5000 years! This area (Palestine) is sacred to three great religions, Judaism, Christianity and Islam, As a matter of fact; the first two were born here!

?Historical Palestine? covered an area of over 10,000 square miles along the eastern portion of the Mediterranean Sea. As a matter of fact, it is said that elements of humanity occupied ?Old Palestine? during the ?Stone Age?, some 200,000 years ago!

About 3000 BC, a people known as the Canaanites inhabited the area. However in (or about) 1900 BC, the ?Tribe of Abraham? crossed the Arabian Desert from Mesopotamia and settled in! Some 600 years later, however, the Egyptians stepped in, and enslaved most of them.

?Later on in 1200 BC, it is written that Moses led his people out of Egypt and they returned to Palestine!?

--------------------------------------------------------

* Now here is where the true ?Military and Political Dispute? begins! In 1100 BC, the Israelites had conquered most of the hill country of Palestine. Originally comprised of a dozen tribes, ongoing warfare with Canaanites and Philistines in Palestine forced the Israelis to rally closer together! They established a monarchy under King Saul (1010-970 BC), then King David took over the Reins of power!

?After the death of King Solomon (David?s Son), the kingdom was split in two!? This area of little peace was eventually conquered by the Romans in 63 BC and ruled by them for about 500 years, followed by the Byzantines.

In the 600s AD, the Arabs had converted to Islam and seized Palestine. This situation lasted for about 400 years, at which point the region fell again, this time to the Turks! And later on, in 1517, the Ottoman Turks took over control of that area.

This long series of conquests eventually turned Palestine into a wasteland of sorts, where cities crumbled and swamps formed. The only inhabitants of the area were the Arabs and a few Jews, and all were as poor as dirt!

In 1882, the first group of ?European Jews? settled into Palestine, and this was the start of the pioneering movement that led to the creation of the State of Israel! Since that time, however, the history of the region has been flooded with violence and upheaval! As a matter of fact, World War One itself, turned Palestine into a battlefield!

In 1918, the British drove out the Turks, and themselves occupied the land. In 1917, the ?British Statesman/scientist - Chaim Weizmann? persuaded the Brits to issue a statement (Balfour Declaration) favoring the establishment of a Jewish homeland in Palestine! And in 1922, the now defunct ?League of Nations? appointed Britain to rule Palestine!

So here we are, 81 years later years later, and not a whole helluva lot has really changed! Of course, the Brits did take a hike back in 1947, after three years of guerrilla fighting between the Arabs and Jews (1936-1939) convinced them to yield to a large portion of Arab demands! As such, Jewish immigration into Palestine was stopped!

Getting back to 1947, the United Nations divided Palestine into two independent states, one Jewish, and one Arab, internationalizing the City of Jerusalem. This was a separation plan that was accepted by the Jews, but not by the Arabs, who quickly began wide scale attacks against the Jews! And he rest is ?Continuing History? , at least until 2005, ?if you can believe that!??

If you can remember your Biblical Prophecy, the great battle of Armageddon is suppose to take place somewhere in this ancient land, a so-called last battle between good and evil! The only question remaining is, will we (USA) be drawn into this war too (probably so)? And if the Bible tells it like it is, will the creation of a ?New Palestinian State in 2005?, really change the outcome of prophesy?
--------------------------------------------------
This diatribe was not meant as a religious or historical piece, but rather to display that some of the best-laid plans of mice and men have failed miserably in the past!? Will the year 2005 AD really prove to be any different - ?WE SHALL SEE, WHAT WE SHALL SEE!??

VERITAS
--------------------------------------------------
Sorry if I was long winded (again), but what are your views on this subject, as war after war has (and maybe will still continue) to consume this area? Maybe even humanity itself?

If Sharon goes along with the wanted Palestinian State in 2005,...HE IS A FOOL (as are many of The West also). After all, they great majority of Palestinians are exactly where they have belonged for thousands of years.

The truth of the matter is that the vast majority of The Palestinians already live in their very own LARGE State,...which ironically is infinitely larger than tiny little sliver of land (about size of New Jersey), and over 50 year contested State called: Israel. This large and much greater portion of what was once Palestine was taken away from The Palestinians and given to The Saudis and Our Allies after WWII, and renamed: The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

Naturally, and during this occupation process, Saudi Shiek Abdullah got promoted and became the new King Abdullah and the first King of Jordan and/or king of what was once Palestine.

Hell Buddy, fairly recently a TV Report (re. anti-American turmoil in Jordan) specified that about SEVENTY PERCENT of the population of Jordan was Palestinian,... thusly explaining-away all the anti-Americanism and pro-Sadamism in Jordan during The Iraqi War.

So,...I guess it's fair saying that The "SEVENTY PERCENT" of Jordanians and/or The 100% of Palestinians are actually a bunch of easily duped fools? After all, for over a-half-century The Palestinians have been quite easily taught to love their Saudi Occupiers,...while simultaneously taught to hate those meaning them no harm whatsoever (re. The Jews), and also any nations wanting to help keep The Jews from being annihilated.

WOW(!),...one would think that after so many years of political deceit and political BS,...The Palestinians would come to their senses and recognize that The Saudis are actually THEIR OCCUPIERS? But, and except for here (seen nowhere else), the truth about Palestine and The Palestinians and The Saudis seems to continue being a well-kept and dirty-little-secret. Such being truly unfortunate for all nations subjected to terrorism,...since most all of such is blamed on a truly non-existent: "Palestinian Problem". People are getting maimed and murdered for nothing.
