A new memoir of the 45th Infantry division has been published.
"REMEMBRANCES OF A REDLEG: The story of a Korean War Artilleryman of the 45th Thunderbird Division"

The 45th was one of two national guard divisions to fight in Korea. The author is a Bartlesville attorney, former state senator, and president of the Oklahoma Historical Society. He served with Battery B of the 171st Field Artillery of the 180th Infantry Regiment; at places such as Old Baldy, T-Bone, White Horse Mountain, Hill 191 and Point Eerie.
