My first grandbaby , Johnny , is coming home today after being born a month early with his cord wrapped around his neck. He has been in the hospital since he was born 9 days ago. He has fought to get home and today he makes it. He is beautiful and I am thankful. My grandbaby is coming inside the wire ! :q:

Better go out and buy a SIDE CAR for that Harley.

Ifn hes anything like you he will want to go riding vice the crime scene when he gets older.

Your a lucky man.

Just wait until the first day he looks at you and says " Grandpa ".

Good news for a change.

Great to hear John John is home. Does Sid have permission to play with him? If he does the kid's first word may be "psycho". God help me but when I was young I wanted nothing to do with babies. They had to be house broken and be able to tell me where it hurts before we bonded. Now, a grand baby is all I want. Very happy for you.

Stay healthy,
Andy

Thanks again y'all. No , Sid is not allowed around him without adult supervision. Caught him trying to put cammo paint on him the first day home !I feel like I have compleated the circle of my life. Tiny told me the main reason he is glad he survived Viet Nam is for the opportunity to hold his grandbabies. Johnny brings so much hope and love to me I had to bite my lip to keep from crying the first couple times I held him. He has enriched my future and I am humbled to be part of his life. Scouts Out !! Thanks again for all the kind words :q:

Oh, He is Beeeeutiful! Hug that baby up, Grandpa! All too soon they grow up and want to start piercing more than their ears, uhg. I can just see him on a little mini bike with a bright blue mohawk and a Tatt that says, "Cavalry Born & Bred".
Ah, his is just so very precious.
Congrats!

Up here in Yankee country, NY, you must be 18. Trust me, my 17 year old daughter is wanting to get one! NO.
So any tips on being a grandparent? My 20 year old daughter is due with her first in June. Its exciting and scarey all at the same time!
