THEY SEEM TO FORGET WE HAVE CHOICES. THESE MEN AND WOMEN WOULD NOT BE
ALTOGETHER IF THEY DID NOT WANT TO.

(Can't figures out how to provide the photo, but it is about 50 or 60 Marines praying)

United States Marine Corps

ACLU Upset At Marines

If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines
pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying.

The incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the
corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says
Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on
federal time. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and
we must nip this in the bud immediately."

When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for
the Commandant of the Corps said (cleaned up a bit), "Screw the ACLU."

GOD Bless Our Warriors

Please send this to people you know so everyone will know how stupid that
LIBERAL ALCU HAS BECOME.

Your timing is excellent! An associate of mine forwarded that same email + photo to me, but can't figure out the right buttons to push to make it go poof and re-appear here! And you're right on target - the ACLU has become a derelict caricature of what it once was. They just don't seem to undertand, or are intellectually incapable of understanding that this country was founded on Judeo-Christian ideals, and irrespective of the influx of different religions, crystal worship, voodoo incantations, we ain't changing! As usual, the Marines in the photo brought some class and dignity to an otherwise bland situation!

Hmmm, hmmm, hmmm. Mayhaps the ACLU nit wit has not traveled in Devil Dog country before. :x:

According to my almanac of true reality, the USMC has forgotten more ways to screw, blue and tattoo interlopers than has been learned in all the recorded history of mere mortals. :ek:

It?s a high science and if the world were at equilibrium, advanced degrees in conjuring up the eye of the shit-storm wound be conferred upon Gunnery Sergeants and up. So, when tickets go on sale for the feature event where the ACLU takes on the USMC, I want to buy a ringside seat. I think I?ll need foul weather gear but that?s OK, I can do that. How?s that chant go? Something like ?We are, we are rock n?roll?. I?ll practice that and so I can get the stadium totally shaking and tidal waving out. :D

If you really think about it,...The ACLU really isn't all that bad. They're just poorly misnomered.

"They" would be infinitely more honest and more descriptive of their TRUE intent and TRUE ends, if changing their name to The FFECLU (re. Foreigners' and Foreign Ethnicities' Civil Liberties Union).

After all, they rarely (if ever) favor America and Americans' wants, needs or sensitivities over foreigners and foreign ehtnicities' wants, needs and sensitivities. So, why-the-hell not just be honest about it all, INSTEAD?

Still, and in fairness, The ACLU never seems having a problem with The American Taxpayer FUNDING all their foreign favoring absurdities. Guess our money is good, even though we are all basically callous and unfeeling Americans?

When the ACLU began it was for protecting the rights of ordinary citizens. They did some really good things. Occassionally they still are on the right side of an issue. However, lately they have been absorbed by "seperation of Church and State" issues mounting to an out and out attack on organized religion, especially Christianity and Jewish Religions. Other minority religions seems to get away with things that the ACLU would attack Christianity and Judahism. The vast majority of their cases against religious institutions have bee thrown out of court.

It has become a bunch of anti-church bigots in the last 10 - 15 yrs.

Sad because they did a lot of good years and years ago.

Thanks for the assist. Bein that I?m mostly deaf in one ear and scarcely hear out the other it?s nothing short of a minor miracle I got the chant even that close. Ha, tis said that Navy turret guns play sweet music but what is not said is that that is the last sweet music one will hear. Plus I?m thinking my hearing trumpets are inhabited by daemons. I swear, really, I hear the F word coming out of my TV from time-to-time. We know that can?t be true so I?m thinking I had better get these trumpets exorcized or something like that.

Thanks for chiming-in. I had forgotten that The ACLU only favors and supports only minority religions,...and the more weirder, stranger and alien to America and anti The Judeo Christian Ethic, THE BETTER. Go figure?
