I want to thank all of you that were lifting me up for the anticipated surgery that did not happen......I was bumped.....it's a long disappointing story that you don't want to be bored with.
Now for business at hand.......many of you are actively involved in gaining cosponsors to our Bills HR 3474 and S-2065, "Keep Our Promise To America's Military Retirees Act" and your hard work and efforts reflect success.
We need many others folks....time is short...you need to call your Representative and Senators, asking them to cosponsor our Bills.....if we can't get more pressure, phone calls, faxes, emails to these legislators, then we may lose an excellent opportunity to advance military retiree health care. Letters are not good at this point as it takes up to month to get through the security process and reach a Congressman/woman.

We can't emphasize enough the importance of making these calls.....and doing it today, tomorrow, and the next day....we must keep a barrage of communication going near constant to Congress if we hope to be successful.
