Just want to say Hello, and introduce myself. I am wife to a still Active Duty 21 yr Vet, we've weathered Desert Shield/Storm (3AD), a tour of Bosnia, a Korea tour, an Iraqi Freedom tour (4th ID) and countless field problems and NTC's. My father served in both the Army and Air Force, for a total of 21 yrs, and my brother is serving as well. I have 2 boys at home who are constantly amazing me at 12 and 16. Both are in their respective school bands and do well acedemically. The younger son is suffering effects from his father's being in the service in many ways. Hopefully we will be out in December of next year, and while I will be happy to have hubby out, I am not sure I will know how to act, after being so closely tied to the military for 37 years!

:p

Welcome aboard from New Orleans. I'm on a business trip and will be heading back to Chicago tomorrow. Too much good food and beers - damn this job is tough.

Thank you all so much for your welcome. I'll be here reading often, though I may not post too terribily often. BH Dad.... I couldn't forget! I have been "talking" to you, in a manner of speaking, for over a year. You are amongst those that helped me stay sane during my DH's Most recent Iraq tour, and I will forever remember that. Thank you!

Hi Robert! Good to hear from ya!! No, not really, have been on Redleg's new one the last few days and the wtf one now too, though I have been reading them all almost daily. Just took a bit of a break from posting anywhere at all for a little while. :-)
