Hi from upstate NY. Yes there is such a place. Just south of Cooperstown. Deer in the back yard, raccoons on the back porch and bears across the way... and three feet of snow on my doorstep on Christmas day 2002. I've been enjoying this site for about three months now but never gave the proper hello. Sorry.
Just a bit of my history; I spent four years in the USCG. Aboard the Tamaroa for two and the Gallatin for two. I've lived here for all but three of my 41 years. (Never been to the Hall of Fame.)

I have been a member of this site for over 5 months, was up to 204 posts when my computer went tits up, had to get a new one, forgot to let webmaster know I had changed my password, so I couldn't post on forums for close to a month or so. Finally got it fixed, so now I can continue as before. MIssed this site while I was waiting for new computer.
