I have been in school ever since getting out of the U.S. Navy in 2000. I am due to graduate this coming May with a B.S. in Computer Science. I am in Colorado now and have been thinking about the Navy Reserves. There is just something about the Navy that I will always love and want to be a part of.
I am a true red, white and blue patriot and my heart goes out to all in Iraq, they are all in my prayers.
Brian.

Welcome to the site. It is a pretty cool site, I'm an FNG here myself and found most of the people to be quite friendly and knowledgeable. Hope you enjoy your stay.
Thank you for your service, even though you did serve on the "Dark Side"! :D

Hello Swabby - this is a great site for you to consider since everyone here says whats on their minds. It's also refreshing to read about things you've never considered. Many forks in the road on this site as we all have our own concepts on whats what.
Welcome aboard and thank you for your service to your country.

Despite your obviously incorrect decision to "ride the waves" rather than join the MIGHTY US AIR FORCE...Welcome!

Barracks?Came to believe that sleeping on soft but non-squishy and not too damp mud when it wasn't rainin an nobody was shootin was the hight of luxury. Now I ask ya: how are the squids and zoomies EVER gonna learn the proper types of mud and C-rats to look for sleepin in beds and eatin hot food(sometimes with real meat you didn't even have to kill yourself in it)???

Well Brian, as you will come to find out, envy is a horrible affliction so you can expect to draw incoming, flack and fire from non-Sailors. But be kind, they just can?t help or restrain themselves. :D
Welcome aboard Sailor.

Welcome to the site. As you can probably tell, there are some very interesting folks here. You will probably come to find, as I did, that these crazy people are very supportive and warm (despite the armour plate). ----Just don't tell anyone, okay? He he he.

Welcome aboard Brian! When I was stationed in Panama we would go to the Airforce messhall whenever we could because they had real food, you could get seconds, and it almost looked like a restaurant.

I am the self-appointed, unofficial therapist for this site. I'm the only sane one on this site and I'm not too sure about me.
Seriously, a wonderful group of men.
