Where did you look? The 2nd answer is not a snuff case, it is a walnut tobacco case could be used for both I would guess. You did good bernbenjamin :D

It is a brass eagle (emblem missing) match safe, great guess David, more to come. Gonna have to make them a lil harder to guess LOL

Can any one tell me what the patch is, what corps did it denote? It is interesting to note that this unit is still or was active. Please use you brain not the properities to get the answer LOL.

sn-e3 Ok here is the info on the pistol. It was made by Tucker&Sherrard, copy of the 1st Colt Dragoon, .44 cal ball. This one was captured by Wm. L. Gross, of the 11th Maine later of the 14th Maine. This pistol was made in Texas.
