Just a quick post to say Hi. Came across the site by chance.

Have been a member of the Royal Air Force for the pass 29 years, still have 8 to go.
Trained as a photographer, first started working on aircraft reconnaissance systems, posted onto various operations, now I sit behind a desk and have daily contact with all the RAF Photographic sections world-wide.

Over the coming months I hope to be post imagery to the gallery

Welcome. Looking forward to the imagery. Were you captured by roving gangs and forced into the Royal Air Force as a child ? :re:

I started working for the Queen in 1976 and have had a great time wearing the light blue of the RAF for the pass 29 years.

I still think my mother signed my 'signing-on' papers!

Welcome! At the very least, you're Air Force. It must be cold, though, leaning out of the rear seat of a Spad to take those pics! What part of England are you from and/or stationed? My wife and I took a tour of Northern England and Southern Scotland several years ago. Great country, greater pubs!

Welcome here, old top
Was in Merrie Olde England just a year ago. Pip Pip and all that.
Its a great place once you understand they insist on driving on the wrong side of the road. So many people honked at me I was sure they were being friendly, especiallyy going through the roundabouts--I bet I woke up a few--what does "Bloody Hell!!" mean??

At any rate, I got to go to allthe places I wanted to--like 221b Baker Street and Stratford Upon Avon, as you can see, this being The Holy Grail for Shakespeare buffs
I liked England a lot. Toodeloo and all that
Stay good
keep coming back
James

PS they also don't know how to spell Center

Hey Dan ?. Where did you get that picture? That?s my summer home on top of the hill over looking the Passaic River in Newark N.J.

My Dad said he used to swim and catch crabs in the Passaic River. Time I was growing up I think it used to catch fire.

You know that Newark N.J never had a water front that looked this good. This modest little home is located in one of the best locations in the UK. what's really nice about the area is it's more Irish then British.

Any day above ground is a good day
