Taught with all four classes of E/20 LRPs at MACV Recondo School, including the Musky Muskrat (exlrrp). Ran lots of OPs and in Dec 68 discovered a law of physics is true - you can not occupy the same place, at the same time, as a Mortar round hitting the ground.
Took a little trip to Japan then to the "World" and was medically retired in 5/69. Back to school - worked as Civil Engineer until 4 yrs ago - VA had to rebuild my L leg and R ankle ( everything finally wore out) now 100% + SS Dis. and like to fish and play with grandsons and play on Computer.
Good looking AO. Looking forward to stand-down here.

Stand down comes in the form of a get together every April on a mountain top in North Georgia.
We hold choir practice, work on merit badges and a few guys like to eat brownies. Check the photo section for proof of these goings on.
Welcome here and welcome home!

No...Midgets put up more resistance by flapping their little arms and legs as they're flying thru the air. When they land, they make the same sound....
Bob K
OK...But I think Cow Chips are a lot easier to pick-up - unless they are fresh, then you let the ACLU Midgets pick them up.....

I think the midgets they are talking about have handles sort of like DMZLT and Andy they both have done full gainers off Sids back porch but Lt got a higher score because he landed in the Fire and all Andy did was land in the Butter. Welcome home..chris

Believe it or not, midget are easier to toss.....its kinda like bowling....you put your thumb in their mouth and 2 fingers up their nose and toss away!!!!

Im gonna explain the butter episode one more time....Andy was passed out on the couch and Laerry was standing there holding the butter with lust in his eyes.

I spend my first tour trying to get into the LRRP, when I got in
my buddies who talked me in had been killed and I had a bad
platoon Sgt, so I went Mechanized Recon two before Tet 1968.
I hope you are doing OK now and welcome back, it good to hear
from you, David "Jake" Reinhardt
