My name is Marnie Mowles. I am the proud wife of a USMC

100% Total & Permanent disabled combat Viet nam Veteran. He served two tours in Nam with the 1/9, also known as ,"The Walking Dead."I would like to thank the Military men and women that have served and that are serving for my freedom and all you have done and are still doing for our country. I am forever grateful and you will never be forgotten by me. Y'all are my HEROES !!!I always make it a point to thank a Veteran and tell them how grateful I am for my freedom . Thanks to you all I am able to type this letter.

I consider it an honor to tell people I am married to a USMC Vietnam Veteran. We have a 20 year age difference and he has been my rock for 14 years.I know I have taken a lot for granted but I started thinking just how lucky I am to have my freedom thanks to you all. Please know that you will never be forgotten by me.I told my husband if he should die before me I am going to dedicate my life to our Military men and women.Next time YOU look in the mirror You will see a HERO and that HERO is YOU !!!

In all sincerity , I can honestly say , "I love you." God Bless each and everyone of you.

Thank you for your post. Welcome to one of the best sites for Veterans. Let your husband know there is a site called Marines Together We Served. It is a site where active, retired, and Marine Reserves chat with each other.

Sounds good Robert, just keep one eye on Bob and whatever happens, never try on the sheepskin coat he offers the new guys on the mountain!

Welcome to the Patriot Files Marnie, and may God bless your husband for the service and sacrifice that he made so long ago. Can your husband communicate and use the net too, or is his disability absolute?

Good to have you with us Marnie.:)

Thank you !! Yes , my husband has access to the internet and does e-mail very few people. His disability is PTSD . He mostly likes to stay in his little shop area and engrave his gunstocks.

Welcome to the site Marnie. I too am the wife of a veteran (Frisco-Kid). He has been on the site for quite a few years. I've been a member for a couple years now. Gone to the west coast campout a few times and the east coast campout last year. I have met many of the members and they are a great bunch of people. Thank your husband for his service.
