Just want to greet all people here (again*) specially everyone who has been served. Unfortunately i have not been in military but i try to make small global service other ways for a wide world (volunteer service from EU to Africa is one of these - great for nonformal learning, and some work & research also in internet..).
Also i have small IT firm back in home, i first started this computer biz in Tinian (near to guam) - the island what almost no one knows but have great history, ( hiroshima & nagasaki ) & life there is something u can not imagine actually... crazy and beautiful :)

Welcome aboard, Waffa! :)

From time to time we have server database errors and we lose recent posts.
Apparently we had one in the last 24 hours because, as you say, the Georgia conflict posts are gone and my Olympics posts are gone, which may not cause any grief! :D

Are you on Tinian now?

No, im in South Africa right now, doing some computer & HIV training for people, 2 in one :)

But yes, lets hope database errors was not because cyber milita :P

As you can see from the dates of the remaining posts, EVERYTHING since 8/7/08 was gone. Not just the Georgia conflict.
Nothing was intentionally deleted.

Sounds like some interesting (possibly dangerous?) work you are doing.

Welcome to the site Waffa. Yes we did have a database error, but it was not cause by an external attack, rather just older equipment having a fit.

Didnt u know that HIV problems are so bad in Africa that now u can get infection even from usual home PC there?
