Miracles happen every day, and medical science makes moves ahead that we don't even know about till we need to. 50years ago, my grandmother died from this in her 40's. Four years ago, my mother did. I made it through, so far. Farther than either of them. So, who knows? But thanks Sue. I love you too.

I am overwhelmed with this support and love. I know that at this point of it, I am not making the trip alone.
Today, I will focus on balance. What I need to do to keep it. And hopefully not rage too much on the life changes! That seems to be the hardest thing for me to deal with!
I know there are some things I am not supposed to say, because sometimes they are hard for others to deal with. But I am learning to say them anyway. "No regrets" is a good way to live. I have not given up the battle, but would like to let you know that whatever happens, I am at peace with it, and not afraid.

Janie, my thoughts and prayers are with you now and always. You light up the saloon everytime you walk in. You have added so much to this place and everyone here enjoys your company. Humor is a great healer. I've used it all my life to get thru the rough spots. Just get better and bring Mae with you.

I am inexperienced and life and have no idea what is appropriate to say... Jane, I consider you a close friend and I wish you the best. Your positive outlook, humor and courage will continue to serve you well. You're a great person - I'm sure God's got your back!

Your PF son.

Jane , like all here , I feel your intelligence, wit and communality with this band of brothers and sisters. You are not alone with us nor we with you. I smile even before I read your posts. In the last few months I have been in contact with a guy that was in my platoon 32 years ago. Through all we went through together what he says he remembers most about me is my smile. Even though we have never met - and I know we'll talk for years more - I'll remember your smile. Keep movin , girl !

I'll keep moving. You just gotta put up with the rest breaks. But I can still laugh through those! I have also been given orders from my friendly curmudgeon to get off this damn computer sometimes! OH NOOOOO! Withdrawal!

DMZ-LT 01-07-2003 09:00 AM

Lots of good folks here ready to hump your ruck and provide covering fire while you rest. Me included , all you got to do is keep movin... and keep smiling. Thank you , Welcome Home.
