I agree with your assessment about the stridency of the Mullahs, which makes their demise all the more desireable. The more the average Irani can get educated, the less influence the Mullahs will have; hopefully, we are beaming lotsa stuff into Iran via the Internet andother resources to spred the message of freedom, of capitalism, of hope, and hopefully, of revolt against the theoragheads.

Thanks for all the great posts ! You have stated what I suspected about that part of the world. It is very unfortunate, and sad... I hope at some point a bunch of us can get together in person somewhere and talk over a few cold beers about all of the myriad subjects that come up on PF, instead of all this "hunt-and-pecking" on this old keyboard !!!!

I tend to be spontaneous in my postings and just fit in where I think I can add something. In our off-line conversations we discussed the concept of perceived ?Soft Targets? and I really don?t need that kind of thing in my life as I fire back, big time, and that is counter productive. So I tend not to wave a red flag and say ?here I am?. However, the next time I have something of general interest I?ll try a general topic posting then go hunker in the bunker and hold counter battery fire for a sec, maybe, LOL.
