Hey Ron
We calls dem critters "Possum on the Half-Shell" down heanh if FLA!
Them rascals keep gitting into my wifes flower beds and digging up her flowers! Good thing there ain't no 'limit' on the amount of them sumbitches you can 'bag' in a year! I done bagged about 25 or 30 of them 'armored' possums since we moved down heanh to paradise !.......... :D |
Is the armadillo an official Texas state symbol of some kind?
Like..."Texas State Critter" or something? |
Lone star
right down the road a ways.
I have no idea if the Armadillo is any thing but a cool animal. They suck in deer season, Sounds like a heard of cows comming through the woods, until you see one armadillo. Friend of mine has a pet armiadillo, carries it around on his shoulder. Some people eat them. I would eat alot of things (and have) but a dillo ain't one of them. opossums are just nasty, and mean. Out hunting one day I came upon this dead cow, all blowted, as I walked by a family of opossums came out from the stomic area, that was interesting. Found this picture (the first one)around big ben national park. Looks kinda like your first pic. Ron |
Purty pictures, cept for that warmongering possum.
