I believe in our Recon platoon, 1/46 Inf. Americal, the only FNGs were medics. Everyone else had done time with a line company.

Ron, I think you and I may have covered the same ground. I was in the 174th AHC (Dolphins and Sharks). I was the crew chief on the C and C for 2/35 in April, 67. We were the first aircraft from our company sent to Duc Pho, shortly after our company began moving up.
