Apparently PHO127 (Sid) has been banned from posting here on the Patriot Files. the reason was: Sid voiced his opinion toward some spam that appeared in the General Forum where he dropped the F Bomb. To the person who took it upon himself to be the guardian of all of us. You definitely need to be proactive toward the rest of us who has done the same (dropped the F Bomb) over the years. Or just accept the fact that you overreacted, and reinstate.

So heres the deal, I would drop dead before I would "Read the rules and apply for reinstatement" If the membership is deleted then it needs to be reinstated by David and the person fired that deleted it THATS MY DEAL.

Bob, Sid, there is no way that by just a REAL PISSED OFF reaction to someone who enters the site and post links to porn sites with their resultant worms and cookies is going to result in the removal of the one that reacts. On the 14th a new personjoined the PF's and logged on as "samhummr" who proceeded to initiate a new thread in the General Post forum under the heading of "A secret: how to conquer women's heart" and that post had a link in it. If anyone where to click on that link it probably would have resulted in a worm entering the hard drive of the computer entering the site but would have most certainly installed an unwanted cookie. Sid jumped into the characters sh .. - which is what most of us would have done had we had our computers attacked or had one of our kids log onto our computer and clicked that link.
I did delete the entire post and sent an e-mail to samhummr telling him what I did. I also banned him or her from membership in the Patriotfiles, PMedthose that had replied to the thread as to my reactionand the only thing that I regret about it is that I didn't get to tell him or her "F ..- -.-. K You Spam muther F ..- -.-. -.- ER" as Sid did. Thanks Sid, you did good in your justified reaction. You didn't get that VOM for nothing, you earned it.

Holy buckets! Glad we got all of this cleaned up! Email addy's all over the lower 48 were damn near melting!

I have been offline due to power outage for a few days now but I am sure Sid was never banned.

We have had an increase in spamming in the last two years as people have come up with more sophisticated methods of avoiding sign up filters meant to stop robots from signing up and auto posting trash links. None of the people that post that garbage are actual people, just robots that go from site to site posting the same thing endlessly. Replying to them or PMing them is pointless as nobody is home.

I want to thank all of the moderators for helping to keep the trash posts to a minimum, I know it has gotten tougher lately and your help has been invaluable.

Always wondered what those W2f4OX type things were on some web sites. You have to enter those codes to get in. If you can't see them, guess your a robot. Makes sense now. Maybe you can set that up for new members.
