Great letter. It will be interesting if/when you get a reply. Keep us posted. We might even have to form a convoy of protesters, and show up at Ft. Sill, to do a respectable protest.

Already have a reply

You should look for a small mushroom cloud in the vicinity of SW Oklahoma

This thread made me think of the firing ranges at the Yakima Firing Center.

The 12 ranges were dedicated to men who received 11 MOH and 1 Silver Star.

In 1990, Norman Schwartzkof, then in charge of Fort Lewis, dedicated a plaque in the new firing control building because the changes in configuration eliminated the firing ranges. We were there.

I spent several hours yesterday looking for information about the men, awards or plaque and found NOTHING!

GunnerCarvo's greatgrandfather's brother was the soldier with the silver star!

Don't let anything stand in your way.

Thanks for your encouragement.

Paco to answer your question. I have been given the direct email addresses of 3 full birds 1 SMJ and 2 DA civilians who have been instructed by the CG Ft. Sill to render any assistance that I require.
