This was published today on Facebook by Guardian Eagles, apropos of this Saturday's gathering at the Lincoln Memorial in DC:

Rules of (non) Engagement:
1. Avoid Confrontation. Be aware you WILL be provoked. KNOW it is the Saul Alinsky tactic and in the interests of the provocateur to elicit an emotional response from you. It will be videoed, recorded, distorted and used against us. You may laugh. It may be much more effective (and satisfying!) than an insult to a threatening person. They love threaten and to be ‘taken seriously’. They hate to be laughed at!

2. Do NOT Carry Weapons, or anything which could be misrepresented as a ‘weapon’. Even if you carry a permit. The ‘risk’ to your self-defense will be misrepresented by opponents, media or police acting on erroneous information is greater than the threat to your life. This is a Command decision. No weapons allowed.

3. Be Aware of your Environment. Threat anticipated is threat avoided, or overcome. Plan in advance. Evaluate your situation and your alternatives constantly. This is just common sense, good for all urban – or group settings. Do not depend on others to ‘watch your six’. YOU cover theirs!

4. Do NOT Separate from your Team. If you must separate briefly, be certain to inform your whole team of where you are going and when you will return. Have a means of communication and know your Rally Point, should you get separated.

5. Carry Essential Tools. A small flashlight, some paracord (50’ minimum), a pen and notebook or 3/5 cards, a book of matches, and a small compass, and a D-ring are always useful.

6. Media are Predatory. Be SMART. They are often NOT as they seem. Do NOT assume a ‘friendly manner’ to put you at ease indicates any more than an attempt to elicit unguarded comments to be used against us and to mischaracterize you. Ask for credentials. Do not be rude or hostile. But do THINK before you answer. Assume your comments will be used - or even distorted - against us. Be well mannered and even friendly; attempt to persuade by appealing to the Best in journalistic ethics. But do not assume it is forthcoming.

7. Insofar as possible, Video and Record! Our Best Defense is a RECORD of Truth. Not only does this protect you, and us, and the Truth. It also provides us with a record WE can use to counter lies and present our case to those not present.

8. Remember: YOU Represent the Finest in America and are Keeping Faith with a LONG, Proud Tradition. Be Proud and Confident in your role. WE are Proud of YOU! Do your Duty for those heroes not present, whose interests we represent. In a very real sense, the Future of America rest on YOUR shoulders. YOU are a Guardian Eagle. Do your Duty.

Never realized there was a: "Psychological" section on Patfiles, until saw your post listed amongst new posts at the top of the forum categories. Good & Interesting post.

Regardless, at least here ones posts get flagged at the top same category list, just as do most all the others on this site.

Posts on: "Political Debate" Forum in the most politicized nation on earth (even good, bad, right & wrong politicized) are never flagged like all the rest. Why is that?

Maybe your right about that: "Baiting the opposition" thingy?

Still, almost as much Honesty & Truths about American politics is displayed right here at Patfiles (even without: "Flagging") by some, such as daily done on FNC (Fox News Channel).

Forget about non-biased or non-selective reporting coming out of Mainstream Press/Media.
Such in general have proved themselves being Without both Honor & Credibility.
