A variance of opinion is a good and healthy thing within our society, but in my own opinion, and judging from the political cat fights that have been taking place of late, it seems to me that power and control alone means far more to some politicians than does the welfare and prosperity of our people themselves – “Each and Every One?”

They all go into office with their own agendas as per their election. People want them to get things done in their state. When they get to Washington they have to sway judgement and get approval as well as Congress votes. Not all of them are ever on the same page.
What's good for the few must be good for all or it doesn't pass.

Politics is the worst job in the world - it pays well but only while your in office. Each time you get back home more state agendas are ready for you to bring to the vote in Washington. If you can sell it you're a hero - if it fails they will look for another.

We the People usally get what we pay for and that's hardly ever true. This is why I've always wondered why anyone would want to be in politics.
