Like it or not, most people hear only what they want to hear! I don’t care how sophisticated, how wealthy, or how experienced they are, they are rarely aware of their surroundings and they forget almost as quickly as they learn!

Case in point: Out here on “The Shaky Side”, we have a whole different set of rules and concerns. Among these are the constant threat of earthquakes, illegal immigration and the dangers that go along with it, and this year, a massive influx of rattlesnakes! I just watched a television news program that showed fully-developed diamondbacks all over the place – from sea to mountains and most points in between! As nothing is born fully developed, many of the experts are puzzled as to where these slithering vermin are coming from? And of course, the usual warnings are being tossed about, including clearing weeds, and in the case of mosquitoes, leaving no standing water about!

“So What’s Up This Year?”

Is it the excessive rain (at least for these parts), a mild winter, or maybe even something ominous in the wind? Or could it be that Mother Nature is just reasserting herself? These things might explain what is going on in the natural world, what is taking place in politics however, is a whole different thing!

As usual, mankind is still in a hurry to eradicate itself, and at least one fool is currently threatening to unleash “The Nuclear Gods of Oblivion!” Don’t that corpulent little idiot realize, that like a line of dominos, his braggadocios actions could garner for him the fires of Hell! Or does he, and all like him, really believe that any war is all one-sided?
