Hi Doc :

I was in your AO from Nov 1969 - Nov 1970 with the 3/22 and the 2/22(M).

Have you tried to contact any of your brothers from that time at

www.25thida.com

or

http://www.vietnamtripledeuce.org/

The first link is the 25th infantry Division Association.

The second is the 2/22(M) "Triple Deuce" Association. They can help you find your brothers. What units did you serve with ?

Welcome Home !

Larry

Doing some research for my husband's claim. Trying to find anyone who was at Cu Chi February 26, 1969 when the base was overrun by VC. The VC took out 12 double-rotored Chinook helicopters were taken out by VC saboteurs. 9 were completely destroyed. My husband had to go into the motor pool because an enemy NVA ran in there with sapper charges. There was huge damage all over the base because the NVA came in from so many places. Trying to find anyone who remembers the motor pool incident. My husband's name is Wilbur G. Dickson, Jr. Most people called him "Flip". He was with the 25th Infantry from Hawaii, called up through the National Guard of Hawaii. Found an After Action Report, Department of the Army, HQ, 554th Engineer Battalion (Const), that talks about a ground attack on HOTEL Sector, Cu Chi Base Camp by NVA Forces on 26 February 1969 but National Archives can't locate it. We need help from someone who was on base and can confirm the attack. Looking forward to receiving info. Thank you, E. Kawai

Or maybe we'll see you at Sturgis this year (will be picking up my scooter on Saturday)

Glad to see you ride metric. I looked at a Royal Star last year-- it was sweeeeeeeeet, but too much $ for what it was.

Mr Gepfert, Sir!

Above the links posted above, for the 25th Inf Div and the 25th Avn Bn, may I also suggest taking a look at the following aswell?

Results via google, by direct result-link of google (725th Maint. Bn within the "Viet Nam Veterans Homepage"-locate a buddy/ARMY-section):
Click to View Search Results for +site Google: +site
Google resultlink for directed search for "725th" within messageboard-provider "voy.com" (results from more than 1 messageboard, based within voy.com's server):
http://www.google.com/search?q=725th...n&lr=&filter=0

I noted that in 1 of the "voy.com"-boards, you had already posted yourself, and did receive a reply by a mr Jeff Northridge. But there is 1 other board at voy.com, which also has posts for/about the 725th Maint Bn, which you will see in the above google result-link. It is the board that has "/4844/" in its URL.

I hope you will recognize names in the "signings" of any of the results within the above google-resultlinks. Or perhaps by contacting any of them, they may be able to help you further?

T G C! (=Take Good Care!)

Sincerely
A.B
