He wants to take back our Government from the Obama administration.
Now some read between the lines and add a succession clause in there somewhere.
I have always said I would NEVER go back into the military for any reason. But and I say a huge BUTT. If Perry wants to succeed from the United States because of the Obama administration I would be there for him with all my cunning and trechery that would take on any and all the United States Youth. I would feel bad to have to beat so many fine young Americans but, would do so. and I would guess that Kentucky and Tennessee would have our back, just as they have always had. After all, Texans didn't die at the Alamo. Texans, Kentucky and Tennessee people did.
America is great and has always been great, But under Obama, America has become some shit hole for the Dems to get money for their stupid projects. F- That.
Let it be said, I would be the first in line, of a CHARGE on the White house, to throw this POS out the front door. If I die, I die.

Secession was tried before and failed.

Actually, secession did not fail. It was the war that followed that negated the secession.

Texas is not calling for secession, but for a return to governance by the US Consitution, with particular attention to the 10th Amendment. As a refresher, it reads, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." People who call for this to be a political reality are derisively referred to as 'States Rights' people, as if it's some perjorative thing. For example, since "education" is not delegated to the US, nor prohibited by the States, it should remain a perogative of the States, or individual communities. The Department of Education is a colossal waste of our tax dollars.

2 friends of mine (Bob & Mark) went to the tea party in Austin. The Governor spoke about the money that Texas turned down because it would force the state to spend more state money after the federal money is gone.

I just got back home from down town, There was no place to park, and I am not going to park my 09 mustang in some slum neighborhood without someone watching the area. I'll watch it on the TV. It looked like there were a lot of people in attendance.

Not really a suprise, Texas was not Texas yet. Before the fight, Mexico asked Americans to settle the area, People came from all those places to begin a new life, When the fight broke out they stood and faught.
