Missouri Army National Guardsman and Department of Defense Subcontractors Indicted for Conspiring to Steal and Sell Military Gear
By: DCIS - Criminal Investigation - 08-19-21 Re: https://www.dodig.mil/Criminal-Inves...ractors-indic/ A federal grand jury in East St. Louis, Illinois, has returned an indictment charging three area men with conspiring to steal and sell sensitive equipment and other property belonging to the United States military. Brandon Schulte, 43, of Jefferson City, Missouri, Jody ("Joe") Stambaugh, 50, of Nashville, Illinois, and Gary Stambaugh, 77, of Fayetteville, Illinois, are accused of conspiring with each other and others unnamed to steal military uniforms, tactical robots, night vision sights, high frequency radios, and other functional military equipment. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal note: Everybody is out to make a buck on military sales. Where are the values we used to have? You see it all the time. Weapons sales are just about anywhere now-a-days and its quick money for those who feel insecure or just wanna play soldier. The old Army/Navy Resale stores are hard to find anymore are they - out-of-business? - I knew of one in Munster, IN but not sure if its still there? - Boats |
