That’s what reader David R. wrote recently.

Now, while I can’t agree with David’s use of the term “crooks,” I can verify that the power relationships between my former employer and Washington have long been a feature of the American political landscape.

And the Goldman senior gang weren’t too discerning about political parties, either. They put their weight behind Democrat and Republican alike.
