There is a small building that has this on the door, with my uncle's name above it, I live a town away from where he was born and raised. What is this building? The sign just looks like this

Taylor,

Looks like VFW Post 1610 in Rittman was named in honor of your uncle. Maybe you can contact them and see if they have any information on your uncle Stanley. Sometimes these posts have historical information they used as a basis for naming the post.

Your uncle has been honored by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post in that town. Covan is right, go find the Post Commander and find out why they honored him so. They would love for you to come to a meeting I'm sure. When we named an MOPH chapter after a local MOH recipient in Greensboro, we had the family come and they where just so honored. Go talk with them.

That post 1610 was named after your uncle which is definitely an honor. Do what Pack says and make a visit. You should be able to find some interesting facts regarding your uncle.

Thank you so much, I pass that building every Sunday after church to go to my grandma's house and I just noticed his name above it the other day. I will see what I can do about going to visit and talking to them, it sounds very interesting. And no I did not try to send a picture but I will probably take a lot when I go and visit. Thanks again for the help.
