“Once Upon A Time” when people were far less educated and the art of communication was limited to only what had to be said, the need for eloquence was not as critical as it is today!

“Three Cheers for Education and Enlightenment”, but alas, with the need and ability to express oneself clearly and concisely, has also come those who rely solely upon presence, position, titles, and wardrobe, to advance a point of view! And when these things are removed from the matrix, all that remains is usually a bag of hot and noxious gasses that are devoid of any clarity, objectivity, and even basic intellect, In My Opinion!

Granted, eloquence and a good command of “Our Native Tongue” are essential to our social intercourse! But when one substitutes position for intellect, or verbosity alone for something to really say, “who then is that party really fooling – “But Themselves?”

The whole point of language is to relate ideas, an opinion, or even a thought, and not an attempt to impress! And in this respect, people have gotten along quite nicely over the last several millennia! So when I see some stuffed shirt with a fairly decent education and a title, attempting to confound, bewilder or even impress, I can not help but wonder “How In the Hell” we have managed to develop, and to progress throughout the ages of our existence as a species?

Once again, education and social advancement” are indeed splendid things, but what do these people do when “We Have Heard It All Before?” And worse yet, how does anyone advance, when “Like Far Too Many Of Us These Days”, we are sometimes just too damned stubborn, busy or even narrow-minded, to fully consider all of the other alternatives - “And All Of The Other Possibilities?”

I Matey - we are in for rough weather. No moon tonight and the seas are high and the waves are pitching the ship and banging on the haul. We've bat'n down the hatch's as the old man of the sea is in an angry state. The winds are blown East to West and the crew's in a state of worry. The Skipper's in no mood for scuttlebutt. Secure all hatch's and no one on the catwalks. All watches man your stations. Boatswain's check your equipment and secure all loose gear.

This is where our President is at this very time. Insecure he is - but he's all we got - we sink or swim with his abilities to maintain our security.
