Their Route.

Two Indiana boys riding their bikes past a funeral ceremony for a military veteran last week and immediately pulled over.

Jacqi Hornbach was in the Batesville neighborhood when the boys got off their bikes, dropped their backpacks and stood in solemn formation.

She was enjoying the nice weather outside when the funeral procession arrived at the cemetery across the street.

“These two young men were riding their bikes and saw the flag of the deceased military man.
They immediately stopped riding, got off their bikes, and stood with respect as TAPS was being
played,” she wrote on Facebook.

“I had to snap a pic as I was so proud of these two young men.”

She told Fox news, “It was as if they didn’t even have to discuss it before doing it, it was so natural for them…
without any prompting or knowledge of anyone watching. It was just so touching to see.”

She debated whether or not to post the photo, but decided to: “With all the negative things going on, I thought this was needed.”

“I’m sure the serviceman was in heaven smiling down on them.”

Personal note: Ya know - The kids today aren't taught this service - unless they've experienced it before or seen it on TV.
I'm very proud of those two young men for their courtesy shown and their respect for the fallen. What can anyone say.
Those two little men took the time to give respects to a fallen soldier. Like the Lady said (who took the picture) of the
soldier's being buried are smiling down on those two young men. Who took the time to witness their burial. Chilling isn't it.

I send my respects to the family members whose son's were buried. We thank them for their service & sacrifice.
May they rest in peace knowing they are surely missed.
