As the U.S. withdraws all but 2,500 troops from Afghanistan soon, it is leaving behind a country plagued by a surge in violent attacks, with the Taliban on the outskirts of the capital, Kabul.

Personal note: It seems the Taliban are already to move in once were gone. Not sure if the Afghan's can hold them off for any length of time? All that work and loss of life to watch the enemy walk right in after we leave!
