Why things get screwed up at the VA

Yesterday, Monday the 26th, I spent all day at the VA on a medical appointment and with my Bro Ray (dogcorleone). We got Ray into the VA system with ID card, AO Registry and PTSD claim for starters. One of the people where you start with eligibility was telling a man he was supposed to be there on the 26th but today was the 27th. The man told her today was the 26th and a somewhat heated exchange took place until the woman pointed at her calender (A VA CALENDER) and then started to laugh. I had her Xerox the calender page so I could post it here for you. Please note the 25th, 26th and 27th.

Sid....what a HOOT!

So the Dogfather starts his journey through Pavlov's maze called Department of Veterans Affairs. Should be fun.

Will give him all the knowledge I have in a few weeks.

HAD

an appointment at the Dallas V.A. same day, at 1:45 and was there, through the procedure and OUT by 2:15. Guess some are more fortunate than others!!!!! OR, don't let up on them, No matter if they are clerks, Dr's, or even the head administrator. NEVER had an occurrence, when confronted the administrator, or doctor, IN WRITING, that the situation wasn't handled, as it initially should have been.

Humper,

Like civilian hospitals, there are good VA's and Bad VA's. I had some great experiences, and some nightmares. I am glad that you are getting good treatment in Dallas. My old buddy from Maine says that he has never recieved such good care as he has the Togas VA Hospital in Augusta.

Good to see you back!
