Sandra Dee
1944 - 2005 We'll never forget ya, Gidget! |
When I was a senior in high school, Sandra Dee came to San Antonio, and I accompanied a reporter for our HS yearbook to interview her. I took a couple of 35mm slide shots of her, and she autographed a b/w give-away photo, that I still have stuck in some drawer somewhere. My second senior year wasn't as eventful. :D

RIP Gidget and the Girl most folks now remember from the song in the Movie "Grease" "Look at Me I'm Sandra Dee" Sandy now joins a host of stars from the Fifties like James Dean in celluloid heaven. She will never be forgotten Because she became synonymous with goodness and purity in the Motion Picture industry. :a:
