Hillary the Wannabee
 

Most of us Vietnam veterans have encountered more than our share of wannabees, those pathetic losers who peddle their fake stories about being in combat, earning awards, and strutting their stuff as war veterans. We see them as weaklings, losers, and liars, spouting their phony tales of heroism and dashing deeds of valor. They deserve nothing but our individual and collective contempt.

Now we have the former First Lady, Madame Hillary, replicating the very worst forms of behavior that we deplore in other wannabees. She has claimed on several occiations that when her C-17 landed in Kosovo, they had to dodge sniper fire, blah, blah, blah. Actual TV coverage proves her to be a liar, and a very lousy one at that. But she's a Clinton, so she's acting completely in character. Her back-peddling and hemmin' & hawin' are only designed to cover up her lies, not any form of admission that she lied. Like other pathological liars, they only apologize when they get caught, not for the lying itself.

She deserves nothing but our individual and collective contempt.

Golly gee, Batman, why are there no defenders of Her Highness, the Pretender to the House of White? Could it be that she's indefensible? Guess that's it - we don't defend wannabees, so I guess they same action would be applied to her.

WHAT THE HELL IS THIS MORIBUND LOSER DOING IN YOUR POLITICAL ARENA ANYWAY?

Give her a break....she only "mispoke" about running through sniper fire with her daughter clinging to her as she gave the finger to Serbian Snipers while grabbing for any GI's M-16 to return fire on full auto from the hip while wiping Cheryl Crow's ass with 2 pieces of toliet paper. She just remembered the truth a little differently from what 2 tons of video tape show what really happened.

Your recollection of the story is only partially correct: not only did she do all those things as you allege, she actually negotiated the Irish Peace Plan, signed the treaty establishing the State of Palestine, received the Puliizer Prize for non-fiction writing, and was proposed for deification by Pope John Paul II. One thing she didn't do was to pose for a photo op, like Obama, with the telephone receiver upside down. And this is the best that Da Dims can put forth to lead our great country, a blundering liar or a racist hate-America bigot?

I have heard that Jane Fonda is supporting Obama. I don't know if this is true but it will be one more reason to support anyone else.
