Veteran Survival

I wanted to tell you aabout a site a friend of mine created. He is a Gulf War vet and has dedicated his time to making sure our Vets are well taken care of.

From Dave at http://www.veteransurvival.com/

Most of those left do not need your help, they all deserve it. This site is designed to help those that do need a hand, big or small.
Veteran Survival is a non-profit site whose mission is to: "Identify needy veterans and match them with appropriate private sector assistance"

Americans tend to believe that the government has the necessary resources to support veterans who need assistance, that is not the case.

We are now listing veteran receiving veteran profiles, though we will not display them until we have a total of 250. For now we are displaying an example template only.

At that time, we will begin to actively solicit support for those veterans, as well as introduce an advanced search feature.
Until then, please review the site and the concept. If you believe in what we're doing, please get the word out.

How it Works

Veterans who are in need of assistance submit their information.
We first verify their service, then post that information on a confidential profile page.

Those pages are located by looking in the category pages below.
We will then solicit companies, professionals, organizations, and private citizens like you, to review these pages and try to identify a veteran they can assist.

Once a sponsor has identified a veteran, they contact us and identify the veteran by number, and we put them in touch. We will suspend the listing until the veteran either receives assistance from the sponsor, or does not.

At that time, we will either re-activate the profile or move the profile to a veteran success page.

Dave has many wonderful sites dedicated to AMERICA. I think you'll like them.
