USCGC Tamaroa Memorial Day Weekend
 

Hello Everyone,

There will be a work weekend on the TAMAROA 24-25-26 MAY. We realize it's another holiday weekend, but DUTY CALLS. We have a 3 week exension from Vane Brothers to continue to moor HER at Pier 11 in Baltimore. We must be gone by June 8.

Those of you who have been so generous with your time, know that there is much to do, but not near as much as before we started. Let's get more white paint over the gray and continue with cleaning. We now have 4 operating heads and the galley has operating ovens and a very clean grill. Time to start a maintenance program.

As mentioned on the website, we need alot of stuff, especially $$$. There's money waiting as soon as we obtain our C501 tax exempt status, but until then we're hoping individuals will add to the TAMAROA Maritime Foundation bank account.

This email is to give as many people as possibile a heads up on the weekend plan. This computer will be shut down until Sunday, but I'll be available to answer any questions if you call me at 804-273-0247.

More details about the move from Baltimore to the Norfolk area will be sent next week.
