San Francisco
I was on leave on my way back to VN - had a layover in Frisco - I was celebrating my 21st birthday. I was now legal
so I went a large hotel in Frisco - walked in and ordered a beer in uniform. I was carded and off course I got a free
beer. The manager came over and said the hotel was giving me a limo and a gal to show me the town. Of course we
had plenty to drink in the limo full bar. She was knock out (no I didn't try to get lucky) it was nearing mid-night and
they drove me to the airport to catch my flight to Guam then to PI and then to Da Nang. The gate guard was a little
taken back but allowed them to take me to the departure site. Wow did I get some ribbing from others shipping out.

Awe hell one more beer ok maybe one more - won't hurt me. Wife is still doing poorly. Blew the circuits in my garage today. Seems like I fixed it so all is well.

I hope you all enjoy my post and our site. I'd be lost without you guys to exchange a post and some private emails. All my buds are pretty much gone now. Mileage catches up to all at one time or another. Keep in touch and have a beer or three at your VFW post or just do what I do sit in your garage and play the tunes and drop a line or two. This old Boats will be here until I get unplugged by the man in the sky.
