Again, the world is a little less

Just received a phone call. A kid I talked into going SF about 4 years ago was killed last night in Iraq. Not sure of the details or even what part of the country he was operating in.

If you could, please say a prayer for Trevor Diesing. He was a good kid and a great Soldier.

Tragic of course and I feel for his family and friends. My best wishes to them. It's a nasty business being on the line and many others will contest to that. Prayer's to him and don't feel bad about you having influenced his decision to join. Shit happens and it all the time. I regret any loss of human life but the issues are he was there he did his thing and gave his all in our behalf and for that we all salute him. God Rest his soul.

You could have urged him to be a teacher. He could have been run over by a school bus. Trav you know, if it's your time, it's your time. We'll pray for him and his family and you.

Stay health, don't be down,
Andy

Say them every night for all our solders. I just put one out for your friend, his family and all the rest..

Sis, Gentlemen...Andy you hit the nail on the head. Will Hoist a glass tonight and thank the almighty for soldiers like him.

Can not shake the feeling that me and mine are somewhat responsible, should have finished it all in 91. I know it was not the mission at the time, but could have saved this generation alot of heartache.

Be well all, and thank you very much for the kind words!

Trav...
Y'all couldn't have finished it. Unfortunately it appears that in this world there's no shortage of assholes who would harm those we love. Your friend had the balls-and the love-to put it all on the line to keep that from happening. Greater love hath no man...

He will be remembered in our hearts and in our prayers.
