Vietnam_War_casualties Vietnam_War_casualties WIKIPEDIA IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR ANSWERS TO YOUR NUMBERS QUESTION, BUT BERNIE WOULD BE ABLE I FEEL TO GIVE GREATER DETAIL

Dr Bob already knows much more than I, but I thought someone might have the answer to his question. I had shared:

I wrote this link, asking "How many Amerians died in wars?"

http://www.valdezlink.com/pages/americans-diedinwar.htm

FDR info is interesting as well as the link at the bottom of the page / dealing with health issues ... various war vets & kids

Reply from Dr Bob's reference:

Margaret:- IF you go to the web page of the Department of Veterans Affairs, www.va.gov , you should find a section devoted to just the sort of information you are looking for. If you read the current (March-April) issue of The VVA Veteran, there is an article about the number of troops who served in the Vietnam theatre of operations, and how many have died after coming home. There is an awful lot of misinformation wafting about the Internet on this; the article, I believe, sets the record straight.
