Face in the wind
For the first time since I did the fire walk on my hands , April 4th , I was able to pull in the clutch on Franks bike yesterday. Not good enough to ride yet but it is a historic day for me and I should have my face in the wind again soon. Danny gave me some patches that say " Riding in memory of Frank " Torch " Skokan "that I am having sewed on my vest and jacket.Sometimes when I sit on the bike I am sad but mostly I am honored. I am going to be an OPA ,for the first time , in ten weeks. Life continues , I won't forget , ever. Dead girls can't say NO. :a:

It's a slow process and it won't change over night. Take it one day at a time. You won't forget but I'm sure you'll find yourself chuckling over some of conversations you and Frank exchanged over the years. There's always a light at the end of the tunnel. Take Care |

Ron -
Did I understand correctly, you actually have a V-Max? THE V-Max? Man, face in the wind LT, one day soon sounds like... I'm trying to get it put back together for that day myself... maybe by this time next year, and I'm after a V-Max. 26 years without anything serious, and then wham, it was all over in '93... at dusk, 16 miles south of Taos. |
