Russia, China, and Iran to hold joint naval drills in Indian Ocean soon - RIA

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia plans to hold joint naval drills with Iran and China in the Indian Ocean later this month, the RIA news agency cited Moscow’s ambassador to Tehran as saying on Monday.

The three countries held similar naval drills in the Indian Ocean in December 2019.

“The next multilateral naval exercises will take place in the northern part of the Indian Ocean in mid-February 2021,” Levan Dzhagaryan, the ambassador, told RIA in an interview.

The drills would rehearse search and rescue operations and ensuring the safety of shipping, he said.

Personal note: Let's face it this is garbage! These three countries hate each other more than the US. It's a gimic - they could never work together and never will. First of all whose calling the shot(s)? Russia - China or Iran? Someone has to be the leader and the other's will have to come in 2nd or 3rd - so whose the leader. They all want to be leaders but now which two will become followers? Taking orders from whom? How will they figure out who goes where and what manuvers are the best? These three countries can't possibly work together as all of them want to be the strong arm or boss - which will result in their demise in the end. All three are not used to taking orders from anyone but their own supreme leaders. I wonder how many ships will - or land personnel will be slaughtered - in the event of a war with the United Nations. Better yet whose going to push the nuke button first and start this world wide destruction. How come North Korea isn't part of the gang! Boy Kim must feel really bad since he's not part of the three party system!
